Blue Nile & Boogie Fever

Seeing that summer is just slipping away and feeling a little bit of cabin fever, me and a couple of my friends went out for a night of dancing. We at dinner the Blue Nile (Ethopian Restaurant) and dance the night away at Boogie Fever in Ferndale.
I have to tell you that I was a bit reserved about trying the Blue Nile but was excited to try a new cuisine. It was absolutely fabulous! We all sat around a little round table and then the food is brought out on a round deep platter and you use an Ethiopian bread called Injera to scoop up the food and eat. There are no plates and no utensils so you can't be shy!
"
It is said that people who eat from the same plate and break bread together will create a bond of friendship and personal loyalty between the diners that will last a lifetime." As quoted from their website Blue Nile. We drank an Ethiopian Honey wine that was just fabulous and there was plenty of fun and light hearted conversation going around. Oh how it felt so good to laugh so much.
Then we raced over to Boogie Fever so we could get in before 9:00 and not have to pay the cover fee :). It took a while for the place to get hopping but once it did we had a blast dancing to Michael Jackson, Bee Gee's, Saturday Night Live music and many others. I'm sure I looked like an idiot out there but I didn't care, it felt so good to dance the night away.
